Feisty Chilli Popcorn

Feisty Chilli PopcornThis month chef Andy Snowling has joined forces with one of our food hall exhibitors Crush Foods to bring you some fantastic recipes.

Ingredients:

100mls Crush Feisty Chilli Rapeseed Oil

Salt to season

50g Corn kernels

Fine Chopped Thyme

Method:

Heat a deep heavy bottomed sauce pan on a high heat for 4-5 minutes. Add your Crush Feisty Chilli Oil followed by the Corn Kernels and cover with a lid immediately. It is important not to over fill the pan as a small amount of Corn goes a long way! Once the lid is on, shake the pan for 20 seconds to ensure the corn is coated in the oil. It should take approx 3-5 minutes until you have popcorn, allow to cool and discard any ‘un popped’ corn, then enjoy as a snack or an addition to a dish.
